The host country Germa played “Cheri Cheri Lady” to prevent spying before the match against Spain.

The German national team is preparing for a crucial match against Spain in the Euro 2024 quarter-finals. To prevent espionage ahead of the match, they played “Cheri Cheri Lady.” The match will take place at 5:00 PM tonight (July 5) UK time.

As the host country, Germany has implemented strict measures to prevent espionage due to the presence of Spanish fans at “Die Mannschaft’s” training session before tonight’s quarter-final match.

One of the methods employed by the hosts is having stadium staff play loud music on their mobile phones to drown out the tactical instructions from coach Julian Nagelsmann and his assistants on the field.

Two reporters from Bild were present at the stadium to experience the security procedures, both of whom were closely monitored by security staff. The music played to prevent espionage included the theme song of the famous German animated series “Benjamin Bluemchen” and “Cheri Cheri Lady,” a hit by the duo Modern Talking, which is very popular in UK and worldwide.

Both Germany and Spain are in top form, possessing quality players and being considered top contenders for the tournament title. However, many experts and fans believe that Spain has what it takes to send the host team packing.

“La Roja” is showcasing a more direct and faster attacking approach, rather than the cumbersome ball control and attack strategies seen in recent major tournaments. The duo of Lamine Yamal and Nico Williams promises to give the German defense a hard time with their exceptional speed and technique.

The quarter-final match between Germany and Spain in Euro 2024 will take place at 5:00 PM tonight (July 5) UK time.
