Copa America final ticket prices rise to 400 million VND

Ticket prices for the Copa America 2024 final have skyrocketed as Lionel Messi confirmed this will be his last participation in the largest football event in South America.

StubHub announced ticket prices for the final at Hard Rock Stadium in Miami, with listings ranging from $891 to $15,882 (over 400 million VND). Ticketmaster also offers tickets, priced from $2,249 (over 57 million VND) for seats high in the stands behind the goal, to $11,903 (over 300 million VND) for prime seats at Hard Rock Stadium.

With additional service fees, the original ticket price can go up to around $10,000 per ticket. Relatively good seats are currently being sold for between $6,000 (over 150 million VND) and $7,000 (over 177 million VND).

Fans from Argentina and Colombia are flocking to Hard Rock Stadium in Miami Gardens, Florida (which has a capacity of 80,120 seats) to watch the Copa America 2024 final. Tickets for this final are not only sold on Ticketmaster but also on other platforms like SeatGeek and StubHub, leading to price discrepancies.

In fact, the skyrocketing ticket prices have a reason, as this might be the last time fans see Messi play in the Copa America.

Many sources indicate that Copa America 2024 could be Lionel Messi’s last international tournament before he retires from national team duties. Previously, his close and longtime teammate Angel Di Maria officially bid farewell.

Messi recently stated: “I am enjoying every game, and like Otamendi, Di Maria, I am aware that these are our final battles. We are cherishing every moment, fighting together as a team. Reaching another final and competing for the championship is not easy. For me personally, this will be the last Copa America, after we went through the last World Cup.”

The Copa America 2024 final between Argentina and Colombia will take place at 0:00 AM on July 15 (UK time). Before that, at 2:00 AM, the Euro 2024 final between Spain and England will take place.
