The Denmark National Team announces EURO 2024 squad will still feature Christian Eriksen, alongside other stars continuing their dream of going far in the tournament held in Germany next June

On May 30, Denmark officially announced the 26 players who will participate in Euro 2024, featuring well-known names such as Christian Eriksen, Andreas Christensen, Kasper Schmeichel, and Rasmus Højlund.

However, the unfortunate absence of Celtic forward Matt O’Riley, who contributed a total of 37 goals this season, has sparked heated debate among Danish fans.

Denmark has qualified for the UEFA European Championship for the second consecutive time after 20 years. The Danish team advanced to Euro 2024 by topping Group H in the qualifiers.

In Germany in June, under coach Kasper Hjulmand, they will compete in Group C alongside Slovenia, Serbia, and England.

Denmark achieved one of the most notable successes in the tournament’s history by winning the Euro in 1992. Notably, they were only invited to participate that year as late replacements for Yugoslavia.
