On the afternoon of July 16, Vietnam time, Kylian Mbappe officially made his debut as a Real Madrid player at a packed Bernabeu Stadium.
He was introduced to a warm welcome after returning from the Euro 2024 finals. The historic debut of the 25-year-old forward featured his father, Wilfried Mbappe, and his mother, Fayza Lamari, alongside club president Florentino Perez.
Mbappe’s debut marked a significant milestone in the world of football, as he set a new record for the number of attendees at a club debut. The 85,000 seats were fully occupied, with estimates suggesting the total number of attendees could reach 90,000, surpassing the all-time debut record set by Cristiano Ronaldo in 2009, also at Santiago Bernabeu.

The reigning La Liga champions have long admired one of the most outstanding talents in world football and have made numerous attempts to sign him over several transfer windows. As he approached the final year of his contract at PSG, they finally succeeded in acquiring Mbappe.
Despite winning six Ligue 1 titles and four French Cups during his time at PSG, with 308 appearances and 256 goals, Mbappe has yet to secure a Champions League title. This is undoubtedly his primary goal as he dons the Los Blancos jersey.
