On the debut day of new coach Kompany, Bayern Munich players had a brilliant match and won against Rottach-Egern with a score of 14-1.
Bayern Munich showcased their strength with an overwhelming 14-1 victory over FC Rottach-Egern in their first friendly match in preparation for the new season.
As expected, Bayern completely dominated from the start, but Rottach-Egern’s defense and goalkeeper Mario Weiß caused Bayern some difficulties.
Mathys Tel had the chance to open the score in the 8th minute but could only hit the woodwork. Goalkeeper Weiß continued to shine, saving Bryan Zaragoza’s shot that hit the crossbar in the 17th minute.
However, by the 25th minute, the game opened up as Adin Ličina scored a brace within a few minutes, before Mathys Tel increased the lead with two consecutive goals in the 26th and 27th minutes. The home team responded with a goal from Schlichtner, but it was not enough to change the course of the match.
Not giving their opponents time to recover, Bayern continued their relentless attack. Noussair Mazraoui scored to make it 5-1 in the 32nd minute, Mathys Tel completed his hat-trick in the 40th minute, and Raphaël Guerreiro scored in the 42nd minute, giving Bayern a 7-1 lead by halftime.
In the second half, the coach completely changed the lineup, giving other players a chance to showcase their skills. The new lineup maintained pressure on the opponent’s goal. Arijon Ibrahimović (55′), Mudaser Sadat (59′), and Nestory Irankunda (60′) added three more goals. Sacha Boey accidentally scored an own goal in the 65th minute, before Sadat completed his brace in the 68th minute.
Not stopping there, Jonathan Asp Jensen (77′) and Noel Aseko-Nkili (79′) put their names on the scoresheet, completing Bayern’s 14-1 victory in the opening friendly match. However, considering the head-to-head encounters between the two teams in the past, this score is not the most impressive. Over four matches, Bayern has scored 84 goals against this opponent.
Despite this, on his debut, Kompany and Bayern Munich delivered an impressive performance, promising an exciting new season.
